We've received a few questions regarding the assignment and have split them up based on which part of the assignment they relate to, and given our answers below:
PART ONE:
Question: Can you provide more information regarding to data analysis?
Answer: YES! Please see this PDF for more information on what we are after.
PART TWO:
Question: What is required in the functional description for PART TWO?
Answer: A functional description is intended to describe the main features, capabilities, appearance, and/or interactions with the user. It is a formal description rather than a marketing promotion. A series of dot points that describe each of the key (5-7) aspects you believe are most distinctive would be ideal.
PART THREE:
Question: What is the structure or content of the game scenario for PART THREE
Answer: The structure or content of the game is a critical function in the game that you believe could be repurposed to address a critical issue in integrated project delivery. It may be that your game provides a really interesting way to improve how users work as part of a team, and you see team work as critical to IPD. We want you to describe that functionality, show how it is incorporated into the game you have found and then explain how you would use a similar technique to develop teamwork specific to IPD. We are not looking for you to find a game that already relates directly to IPD, but rather a totally unrelated game that has a particular functionality that ‘could’ be developed for IPD, and you have to explain how.
Question: How do you include video content in your report?
Answer: We will only accept a single submission file in pdf format. Please copy screen grabs or images from the game to include in your report to illustrate the points you are making. If a video of the function is necessary, source the video online and provide a link in your report. If you do include a video link, please also specify the time point of the video where your particular function is demonstrated so we can go directly to the relevant part of the video.
